SUMMARY:

1. Assists Project Manager in establishing the construction plan.
2. Interfaces with all stakeholders to ensure coordination and effective communications.
3. Establishes exterior-interior grade and working lines for contractors or crafts.
4. Generates detailed field installation and layout drawings. Provides interpretation of plans, detail sheets, and specifications.
5. Coordinates and reviews drawings, submissions, specifications, changes and document control.
6. Assists with the preparation and maintenance of the project schedule and costing system.
7. Prepares and tracks progress, creates progress reports. Ensures construction progresses as scheduled and contract specifications are adhered to.
8. Assists with equipment selection and rental coordination.
9. Manages material procurement and expediting; monitors inventory – monitors and tracks equipment and resources.
10. Prepares material requisitions for field procurement items.
11. Ensures timecards are properly completed and cost codes are correct. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• At least 3 years progressive commercial electrical project responsibility is required.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Primavera. 

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management highly preferred.
• Experience in water treatment highly preferred.
• Experience in commercial projects up to $15 million are preferred.
• Proficient with BIM 360/Revit, and Primavera are a big plus.
